Cool Engine deatailing while S\C is off....

I'm trying to think of all the things we can do to take advantage of all this open space we have when the S\C is out getting ported.

Clean the intercooler.
Check or change the plugs.
Clean the areas you normally can't get to.
Replace anything?

Also some idea's on some bling things we can do.

Painting the S\C. (I'm interested in this one)
Paint others parts.
Wiring covers\tubing

you get what I'm saying.

Let's here your ideas?

Only if they are double jointed. I never was very flexible. I prefer to have mine polished for me.

I plan on painting both the blower and upper intake plenum. Bought the paint this weekend, hope to get it done next weekend.

Going with a classic "Ford Blue" I found there were 2 "Ford Blue" colors - "Classic" and non. The Classic is closer to the blue in the Ford emblem, so that's the one I'm doing...

Should clean up the engine bay a bit.

Gonna use some degreaser on it (brake cleaner or the likes to get the grime off). Then scotch brite pads to rough it up, then shoot it.

Just some Krylon 500deg Engine Paint. They have TONS of colors and such.

I dont know if there's more that are shiner, etc... you could always smooth the stock parts first w/ some fine grit sandpaper, then paint it, and wet sand that, then polish - would probably look damn good.
