And BTW anyone named after my favorite rolling paper
is A OK in my book BIG THUMBS UP
Since we're talking colors here, lets get our facts STRAIGHT
FACT
Silver Lightnings' spit more spark plugs than any other color
FACT
Red Lightning's have more Head Gasket Leaks than any other color
FACT
Blue Lightning's blow more motor's than any other color
FACT
Grey Lightning's eat tranny's at a rate of 15% more than others
FACT
White Lightning's seem to have numerous electrical problems
FACT
Black Lightning's ARE PERFECT IN EVERY WAY
Except keeping them clean and swirl free *%#!#@!&@$!&@#

As far as which color is fastest, it's a known fact,
The angle of the dangle is adjacent to the beat of the meat.
And when Mars is in line with Jupitar the Atoms on a
Black Lightning create a minimum of 7 HP more than ANY OTHER COLOR
Rectum, dam near killed um
Ask not what your country can do for you,
but what you can do to that little girl next door

did that red was hotter

Common sense says that the entire red/yellow end of the color spectrum signifies the presence of higher heat, right? After all, they are the warmer colors. So, what is the source of heat? Friction! (duh) It has to be friction because of the lack of evidence of any outside energy source. So, without outside energy, the only source of heat is friction or chromatic friction guezzzzz every one knows that

OK....
THIS OUGHT TO SETTLE THIS WHICH COLOUR IS FASTEST ONCE AND FOR ALL !!
No expense was spared and great care was taken to assure that each L was prepared exactly the same and were exactly equal.
Here's what we did...
FIrst, we leased the Indy Motor Speedway.
Next, we bought 6 Lightnings, one of each color. All the Ls were made on the same day by the same guys. Each was dyno'd to make sure they measured exactly the same with regard to HP.
We then cloned Michael Andretti, and made 6 copies of him so that the drivers of each vehicle was exactly the same as the other.
The vehicles were lined up side by side. The closest to the camera was the charcoal grey. Next was the silver, next was the black, next was the red, next was the blue, and furthest away from the camera was the white.
The vehicles started side by side at the end of the straight-away out of turn four. It was a drag race to the finish line. Below is a photo of the finish...
As you can see, the BLACK L won by a nose, followed by the SILVER in a very close second. Thiird went to the GREY, RED was fourth, BLUE was fifth (Burt is gonna be pissed), and bringing up the rear was WHITE.
Please note that I do not own a black L and I am not favoring it...it just happened to win....
So there you have it....

The fact is that
the color that provides the least skin friction drag is red. Red also helps prevent separation of the laminar boundary layer. No one will believe this without some "its true if its written" facts.
The aerodynamic book "Theory of Wing Sections", page 109, written by Ira H. Abbott and Albert E. Von Doenhoff, explains that skin friction for an object (soap box racer) that absorbs no heat from the free stream is, lets say 1.330. The skin friction for a soap box that is 1/4 the absolute temperature of the free stream is 1.420 at 50 miles per hour. This means that the laminar skin friction increases with heat transfer from the fluid (surrounding air) to the surface of the racer. This increase is small even for the extremely low racer temperatures. This means that the surface temperature of the racer should be as hot as possible. The color of the racer should be one that absorbs as much heat as possible from the sun. This color is red!
BS Everyone knows that black is the fastest color.
Some just won't admit they chose the slower color.
According to the book of R.J.Johnson Jr. paint has pigment,
or is that a misprint of PIGMEAT. Pigmeat has weight, therefore
BLACK has the least amount and hehehe White has the most.
YOU CAN CALL ME RAY,YOU CAN CALL ME JAY, BUT YOU DOENS'T
HAVE TO CALL ME JR.
Another aerodynamics book, "Boundary Layer Theory', written by Dr. Hermann Schlichting, page 467, explains how heat transfer to and from the surface wall (surface of racer) affects the transition of the laminar boundary layer to a turbulent boundary layer, causing more aerodynamic drag. heat transfer from the surface to the fluid (air) at VERY HIGH SPEEDS (Mach 2 and above) has a destabilizing effect on laminar boundary layer flow, but at low speeds the reverse is true. Therefore' a racer going 30 miles per hour with a hot surface (compared to the ambient air temperature) will have a more stabilizing effect on the boundary layer, thereby causing less air drag, and a faster racer. Again red is the best color.
Not speaking from your area......but around here my Red L is the fastest.........

B.S. on the black !!! maybe Blue I cant believe you guys dont see the significant of this !!!!!!!
Now, BLUE, on the other hand, is a cool (really cool, actually) color that signifies a relative LACK of friction. Therefore, Sonic blue must indeed be faster for its lack of chromatic drag as it travels through light. Extensive studies done by the GUILE PAINT Institute of Technology (GPIT) show that this is, indeed, correct. The relative speed advantage of Trucks in the blue end of the color spectrum is enhanced especially when the sun is directly overhead and the intensity of daylight
is at its greatest. The performance advantage falls off in dusk and the evening hours because of the reduced light and, thus, chromatic friction.
Reds advantage reappear in the presence of artificial light if the light is near the color temperature of sunlight.

This photo is misleading since it was a 50 lap race and the black, silver, and grey trucks are just barely still on the lead lap. The red and blue trucks finished 1st and 2nd respectively. I was there.
You should be ashamed of yourself for misrepresenting this photo.

I still have the secret 8.72hp advantage with my 3 coats of Zaino…
My post on the fastest color is definitely full of crap.....I was just poking fun at all the threads that end in
"my color is the fastest"
can you believe that I was e-mailed with a seriuos challenged to my made up B.S.
BTW:
red is the fastest
