Cool Honey I shrunk the L...

Finally finished it. This came in yellow and I re-did it in silver. $20 for the L and $5 for paint. Now I can keep one in my room with me

Got it at wallmart (the only one they had). It took me 4-5hrs. minus the drying time. I did 2 coats of primer allowing several hours to dry each time and then 3 coats of mettalic silver. This comes dis-assembled and the body is practically ready to be painted. you just have to mask off the bed.

I will need to put some kind of clear coat on it now, not entirely sure what though. It will scratch pretty easy. So if you decide to do this do it before you put it togerther. I didnt realize it until it was to late.

Here is the box:

hey nice job...I bought one last week and painted it white, not as pretty as yours but I still had fun. I sanded mine down with my dremel and just put two coats of white on it, pics to come.

Heck I dont know, I thought it would help the paint adhere or something. It made me feel real professional though

as far as the hood alignment I have contacted Ford and they refused my claim saying I modified it, geezz all I did was paint it.
