Honey I shrunk the L...
Got it at wallmart (the only one they had). It took me 4-5hrs. minus the drying time. I did 2 coats of primer allowing several hours to dry each time and then 3 coats of mettalic silver. This comes dis-assembled and the body is practically ready to be painted. you just have to mask off the bed.
I will need to put some kind of clear coat on it now, not entirely sure what though. It will scratch pretty easy. So if you decide to do this do it before you put it togerther. I didnt realize it until it was to late.

I scuffed up the yellow a little with 1200 and painted one coat with testors model paint ....
What was the primer for ???? keep corrosion down? fill those body work inperfections?

as far as the hood alignment I have contacted Ford and they refused my claim saying I modified it, geezz all I did was paint it.
