Does anyone know the process or what needs to be done in order to transfer over the ESP for my Lightning?

Talk to the people that issued the warranty. From what I remember it was 100 dollars to transfer a Ford ESP to the new owner...

Like somebody else mentioned, you would need to discuss it with the company you bought the policy from. They are all slightly different. It should also be spelled out in your contract and it would be wise to read that part before discussing it with your provider. Good luck.

WRONG!!!

Discuss what with the company he bought what policy from?.

"John893 It's a private party sale."

Find the dealer it was bought from and call them, there going ask for the paperwork of the sale and everything will be fine. You must use the dealer network to get chit like this done.

I went through this when I bought a 01 repoed lightning from a dealer early 2002.

For all we know it may not be tranferable

Before you show anymore ignorance and call anybody wrong, please read my post. I said to discuss it with the party he bought the policy from. If it was a dealer, then that's who he should discuss it with. Maybe you would be better off sticking to your soap opera posts.
