20" rims

i post this a long time ago, but search is down, couldnt find it so just decided to make a new thread.

Does anyone know where to purchase some 20's, but that are 03/04? I think 20's look a hell of a lot better, fill the wheel wells up real nice. I know some of you guys have em, but they are pre 03. Any help is apprecieated.

edit in light of all the current non-supporting vendor thread mumbo jumbo, like the catback one, and the brembo brake on, im including part of the question to be if any of our supporting vendors sell 03/04 20" rims. that way if they do, this thread is still legit. and if they dont, this thread wont get booted.

I don't think they make that style yet. Give it a little while, I'm sure they will make them in 20's.

the '03 style wheels have been around now for over 18 months, and with the Gen 2's wrapping up in 2 or 3 months for good I doubt anyone will be making any effort for additional products. They will be more likely to offering the new stuff for the new F150's.

Chrome 2000 style 20s I guess......

I havent seen the 03-04 offered in chrome at 18" either.

If you buy some 20's Alan I'll buy your wheels and send them to be chromed......

someone may make them at some point, they still make new products for all sorts of older trucks and cars... money is money, and not everyone jumps on the "new model bandwagon" right off the bat. If they dont make them, no big deal...there are a lot of better looking 20" wheels out there.

To each his own, but my choice would be to find some aftermarket custom 20's that suit your liking. I've never liked the stock look of anything as custom wheels is one of the easiest mods to differentiate your truck from somebody elses. I find it boring to go to a meet or a show and see 20 vehicles that are basically identical except for maybe color. Some of the best looking trucks in this forum are those that stepped out and made theirs different than the rest

yup to each his own. i love the 03/04 stock rims. enough to want them in a 20. i do like custom rims, but havent found a set that i like better than the stock ones. plus, we own SVT's, so they are not exactly stock

Customizing is always a personal choice and I appologize if I was coming off as saying that the stock wheels suck, as that was definitely not my intention. Have you looked at the Foose Spanks? Similar to the 03 wheels and very high quality.

Exactly !!!!Well said .... Stock wheels are unique to Lightnings only ..... and all three styles look great.

chrome or silver

I would only replace them with something like Foose or something expensive/unique, because any other wheel
starts to look like any other truck on the road.........

these 20' wheels painted DSG (where its black)
might look good as a cheap unique alternative lightning wheels

The Foose are available online at www.Victoriatire.com or at www.superbuytires.com. They are a little on the spendy side, but are definitely top quality. Good luck with your choice and post pics with what you decide.
