TIP to remove tire burn out rubber on L

Anyone have a good tip to remove all the tire burn out rubber that gets all over the rear of the truck when doing burn outs at the track. Thanks!

Wax your paint, and rubber will come off with a hose.

As for the plastic fenderwells, spray them with PAM cooking spray, and the rubber will come off very easily as well

HOLD ON!!

I am completely retarded.

I thought you asked how to PREVENT that from happening!

Dont wax, or use PAM on rubber that's already in place. Just scrub with dishsoap.

HOWEVER, once its all clean again, give your paint a coat of hard shell wax, and give your inner fenderwells a quick shot of PAM..

My mistake, sorry!

If you keep a really thick coat of wax on the truck you shouldnt have a problem gettin the rubber off. My wax is so thick I can knock off the rubber just my dusting over it with a soft towel.

Thanks guys, don't worry I didn't pam my L, lol , but I will use those tips in the future. I guess some good ol' elbow grease will have to do. I guess I was doing some fat burn outs because my white quater panel looks like a damn checker board, I'll be prepared next time though...lol

I started a little rubber ball made from rubber on the rear 1/4's
Using hte ball to roll over the fresh rubber and it picks it up.

it is now about the size of a tennis ball!

I"m thinking I'll keep it until it is softball size.

The high pressure wand at the carwash is good for getting it out of the fender liners, peels it right off. However I advise against using it on the paint, wax the hell out of it before track time to protect the paint.
