Kentucky tuning session
Sal,
It lookes like Bowling Green is the best place and there is also the 1/4 mile track at Beach Bend so we could make it a day or two event. If you need someone to make the arangement let me know I will take the lead on it.
Easter,
If you have a contact or know some one in Bowling Green you might want to call them to see if we can rent the shop out for a day or two. I am in Louisville and never been to Beech Bend so I have no idea what is down there.
If anyone is interested in this opporitunity e-mail me so I can start a list to pass along to Sal.
My home e-mail is 01bolt@bellsouth.net.

I know on May 8th our local car group is renting Beech Bend from 9am to 4pm. I know last year I made and everyone made as many runs as they wanted. It was $40. You can also stay for the regular night racing they have there. It was $40 to race during the day. I think the regular night schedule cost $15 or so. TEA has an inground dyno and may be able to get it for a day or two. Basically, everyone that wanted a tune would:
1. have to decide when this is going to happen
2. where this is going to happen
3. do you want to tune on the dyno or at the track or both
4. how much are you willing to pay
I'm guessing there would need to be some pretty firm commitments to have Sal travel all the down here.
BTW, I was just throwing in the track thing because people like to verify their gains. I'm sure a day or two could be worked out where Sal could just tune on the dyno only...

This sounds to good to be true. My freinds know I did not want to mod my stock trucks motor, but even I would be crazy not to jump on this chance for SAL to tune my truck in person. Count me in. I just need a week or two notice, so I can take off work.
BTW my best stock time is 13:46!!

If somebody sets up a time and place I am there. I am in Louisville, but would be willing to drive to lexington or Bowling Green if I had to. My question is, can you tune all kinds of chips, or just one specific brand ( I believe you sell superchips maybe?). I have a diablo chip and have been wanting to get a dyno tune for a while now. I would be great to meet the legendary Sal too.
I will need a dyno run too and this will be great if it works out. I will def. be there.
sbarkley3,
Ohio valley is open Saturdays now test & tune. I plan to be there next Sat and test out my new ported blower.

What times are they doing test and tune on Saturdays? I would like to go down there soon too. Been a long time since I ran, and I never did really get any runs in while it was cold out. Maybe I'll catch you down there.
