Oil in boot

Unhappy Oil in boot

just took the boot and air box off..........boots covered in oil, so is TB. 7000miles. whats the easiest way to clean both.........sittin in pieces in my garage. JR

brake cleaner... I noticed today that oil is getting past my seperator and into my inake. My rubber boot is oil free but it is all comming from the line on the upper intake. The never ending saga

Degreaser. Cut it with a little water. Scrub, rinse, dry, and you're done. Did mine too, and asked around... It's normal. Just keep cleaning it now and then if you're paranoid like me
