I have searched and found nothing but I need to remove the plastic panel under the steering wheel (the part the fuse lid snaps into, it has a pocket in it on my 03L)

I think I tried to remove it on my 01L but dont think I could so i gave up.

Has anyone done this? If so could you post some tips

I want to mount my control unit for my new defi's in the pocket and it will help me sort out the wiring for my gauges setup.

I've had mine off a couple of times; I have my switches mounted in that storeage bin at your right knee. I remember I had to remove a lot of stuff; just go around the edges of it, and there is screws hid everywhere.
