HUGE thumbs up to PSP
Just wanted to post some positive feedback. Saturday I made the 4 hour trek up to NY to pick up my truck. This thing is AWESOME.
First off I had done all of my mods on my stock block myself, and I'm not the best mechanic in the world, so it's safe to say Sal walked me through alot of them, even the ones I didn't buy from him, he was always online to help out and always seemed to have the right answers. So when it came time for a new motor I asked him if he would build mine, he said he was really backed up since they were looking for a new shop, but agreed to do it.
I just can't say enough about how helpful he has been through the whole build up, he constantly kept me informed everyday of the progress that was made, and to show you a true test of honesty, even told me the days that he was unable to get anything done. So Saturday was the day, I picked my baby up, and to my surprise there were even a few "surprise" mods on my truck. Sal had replaced my fuel filter, replaced my bolts in my collectors to the proper spec'd bolts, and even installed a fastair and upgraded me to the cmr style chip!!!! He told me the CMR gave him greater tuning capability and threw the fastair in because he felt bad for running a little behind, but hey, the guy was doing me a favor building me a block in his spare time.
I gotta say I couldn't be more happy with the service I've received with PSP and my truck runs GREAT. My shift problems were fixed when I picked it up, my dyno sheets were ready and my engine sounded great (not noisy at all)!!
I gotta say my money will keep going to PSP and a HUGE thumbs up to Sal for all his help!!

My deal didn't really break down to just the short block, because Sal did my full install, pulling the old motor, installing the new shortblock, apten, pulley, dynotune....all that stuff. But I can honestly say I feel I got a GREAT deal.
It's great to hear the other side of the coin when the tuners step up and go the extra mile to satisfy a customer. Good luck with your truck this year as it sounds like you have yourself a nice set up. Props to PSP.

I have always been able to contact Sal.
I'm guesing he is a one man buisness, which would make it hard to answer the phone. He wouldnt be able to get any work done. If you leave a message he will try to get back to you. The best way to contact him is using IRC, or Instant Messenger.
Here is one way I know that Sal is doing a outstanding job:
A friend and I got our dyno's done last wendsday. He was lean and I was rich. We wanted to get our tunes re-done so we could make it to the track on Saturday. I had my tune done, and my truck re-dynoed by Friday, and ready for the track on Saturday. Well my buddy is still waiting on his tune, and is spose to get it tomorrow. We both use predators, but we use different tuners. Sal really came thru for me, and well my buddy he had to sit and watch races all day Saturday.
On a side note the other tuner did recently have some family emergencies, and it can happend to any of our tuners. Even though I've personaly had packages come from Sal on Christmas Day that he spent all of Christmas Eve mailing.

Ed, you are very welcome. I know how much of a jamb you were in not having your truck. I did my best to squeeze you in and get the truck done in a timely manner. I'm glad it all worked out good for both of us. Congrats on your truck's new lease on life, and enjoy the awesome power!!
