I installed my JLP traction bars last week, its not that hard it just takes time, it took me about 4 hours to do mine, just follow the directions and you shouldn`t have any problems.

Yeah........

don't be like Rob02, Wear safety glasses when drilling the frame rails.

And on the drivers side bracket, put a piece of 2 X 4 about 4 or 5 inches long in the frame rail, to give the bit something to stop against. You got a "few" wires and such running in that area. That way the bit won't jump when you drill thru the frame. Start with a small bit and work your way up.
Take your time, drink plenty of liquids and re-torque the bolts after a few "shake down runs"

One tip that I can pass on is I used a step bit or Unibit to drill the frame, which worked great, I've seen quite a few posts and the issue seems to be clearance when using a standard drill bit, this takes care of that issue. I took me about 4 hour total, start to cleanup and I've had zero issues. Good luck, Todd

My truck is lowered 2/4 and I have JLP traction bars on my truck, you need to be very carefull of drive ways and speed bumps because the brackets that mount to the frame hang down kind of low, ive scraped them a couple of times.
