I was driving by and saw a Black Lightning out front so I wipped in to check it out. It was a brand new zero mile 2003. Bet someone could get a real deal on it. Everyone in Colorado thinks they need 4 wheel drive.

Anyway, was talking to Taff and we went inside to look at a 2003 mustang cobra with twin screw S/C. Had one of them trout colored paint jobs. Green irridasent ($3,500 option).

So we are BS'ing and I ask if they have the GT-40 I want to test drive it. (hehehe RIGHT) He said they had a Red and White one on the way and it was already sold unseen for I think $230K . I tried not to couph and keep a straight face and asked him if they were going to get anymore. He lit up like a light bulb and asked the manager and a few other folks. They said that since they sold that first one they were able to get another but it was coming and didn't know the colors or details. They just said that it was whatever the factory sent them and they were lucky at that.

He also said that they were taking bids on it and would I like to write up an offer. (as he wiped the drool from his hungry mouth)
I figured at that point I better get the hell out of there while I still had my shirt and underwear.

Thanks EZGZ, just called and he said on the second one the bidding was already up to 250k. That's way to kinda rich for my blood. He said though that if it doesn't work out with the current bidder that he would give me a call . Thanks though!

I sell Fords and am SVT certified. Presidents award winning dealers get one. Volume bassed award gets a dealer one. So some could get 2 if they have the volume and win Presidents award. Balance are by lottery. Each dealer had to fill out a form to be entered into the lottery (found this form on the fax machine by accident). In the lottery, a dealers name is drawn. Then his form goes right back in the pot. One dealer could get 5, most will never see one. There is a top 20 dealer meeting taking place in Las Vegas this week where 10 will get raffled off to those dealers that participated in the conference. That's all I know so far.

 

North Point Ford in North Little Rock is getting one, or thats what I was told by a salesman when I asked about the next gen Cobra. He did not know color or price but was certain that they were getting one.
