Modding is a sickness................Pics inside

Well I have been working on the Lightning again, Modding is such a sickness that I cant stop.

Some of you might remember that I ordered 20x10 Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's and 305/40-20 Nitto 404's............Well, I still have about 3-4 more weeks before they get here so I started on some other projects to pass the time.

I removed the headlight panel to install the new grille that I got (pics about that later) and removed the front bumper cover to fix a bit of "rash" on the underside of the cover. The Kenne Bell and upper plenum is back over at my buddys house getting another once over with the buffing wheel while he is also polishing my new C&L trueflow pipe.(pics later)

Here are pics of my progress on smoothing my side, rear, and bumper steps which will be painted body color. I am also painting the tailgate strip, tailgate handle, tag light holders, and bumper hole plug.
I am also doing something different with the gas door (pics later)

Nice booth!

I bought one of those portable plastic clothes wardrobe things, and use that for a booth; works just ****! And cheap! 'Course the clothes are getting pretty red by now....

Love that painting booth

I just use the closet.........

If thats a sickness, then we ALL need medical attention.
I understand the winter blues myself.........but this weekend we are seeing 50 degrees for the first time in a loooooooonnnng time

I had my Lightning smoothed/flushed too, so that it's all one piece. Let me tell you it looks killer. I'll try to post pics sometime. The back looks awesome, there are no longer any grooves/lines where the side step was at and my roll pan end caps looks like one whole piece. I also had the little rubber strip at the bottom of the gate removed and like i said I think its tight. no more water getting in there is the best.
