mixing tires

I need to replace my front tires and I was wondering if anybody sees a problem w/ putting TOYO Proxes S/T's on the front. And once my rear tires need replacing, putting Nitto 555R's on the back? From previous posts it looks like the toyo's are cheaper and longer lasting than the nitto 555s or goodyear f1's so I was thinking of putting them on the front, since I guess traction is not quite as important. thanks

I say do it.

I have the Toyo's on the back until spring, and my F1's up front.

They were AWESOME this year in the snow.... but on the back, they suck for traction. When I had them up front, they felt great, and tracked true.

They do wear very well, also...
