I bought my truck last May. All that I've gotten is the build certificate, which didn't come until Christmas. I was hoping to get the magazine and the book by now. How much longer should I wait?

 

I got my truck in October and received all of my SVT "stuff" by January. I thought it was pretty quick for me. But since May? I think you need to contact your dealer and make sure all the info was pushed through on their end. Shouldn't take 10 months!!!

 

what if you buy it from a private seller? Is there any way I can still get that stuff? Even just a certificate?

 

received my 02 in feb of 03, got my package a few months later....still awaiting my certificate

I wondered the same thing on mine, had bought early Feb.02 didn't get anything till nov. after asking what was going on.
Check with your dealer, my paper work got lost in the shuffle & ended up in one of there used car lots across town. and sat on someones desk for a while.

 

Okay here is the scoop. I called SVT who referred me to SVTOA. Nice people BTW. Anyhow I was not registered with SVTOA. Even I registered online and Ford did not get the info sent over to SVTOA. I am now registered and should be getting stuff in a few weeks. The build cert comes from SVT directly not SVTOA. Hope that helps. Sure hope I still get the book.

 

I was told they didn't start certificates until the years build was completed, so for an 02, you shoulkd have gotten it by now. I guess you have to, call, call, call they seem a little slow.. if your not checking on them.

 

The package from SVTOA (I belive) is just the membership package, only differance is first year is free when vehicle is bought new at dealer.
Build cert. youd have to contact SVT/Ford .
