Outragous Performance Blower Porting???

Anyone have any experience with them? I'm not familiar with them as far as the porting goes, but they are offering a group of us a nice price for porting if we get a bunch of people together.

Also, how come all in the sudden porting is huge. I would have figured someone would have done this a long time ago and it would have spread like wild fire.

Jesus

Not for nothing but who made Apten the king of all porting? Nothing against them but the art of porting has been around since christ. Why does it seem that all in the sudden everyone who ports a blower is copying Apten??? Yes they've done the R&D and they've shown results in the past, but how does everyone know they aren't the only one? Why cause someone on this board said so????

This is no different then the chip wars, the pulley wars, the linemod/vb wars, the traction bar wars, the intake wars, the blower wars, the electric fan wars, the header wars, the heat exchanger wars.......and anything else I missed. Surprise surprise, more than one person is porting blowers. I can't believe how long it took for this to start anyway?

This is in no way a shot at the folks at Apten, but at some of the people on this board that just go from one extreme to the next, most of the time without enough knowledge to make an educated decision.

Just for ****s and giggles, does anyone have any before and after dyno gain on a stock truck with this blower porting??? Are the stock guys gonna notice a 35 hp gain, or do you have to have a pizza pan size pulley on there to get there air moving enough to notice it??? Sorry for sounding so negative but it's just amazing how people jump on the wagon. Can't wait to hear when someone has a problem or doesn't get the gains they had hoped for and we'll see the Apten is full of **** posts, and Apten people are liars, and my blower was fine before Apten touched it. Just like with every other vendor's parts that newly surface.

no

Your wrong on this one Ray, your just jealous cause NED can't hold my power and I spin all the way down the track!!!

I ran my 12.82 on f1's and haven't managed a better 60 than a 1.91 on those slick of Don's. I haven't tested but i think they're spinning on the rims so i'm gonna put screws on them. My truck is capable of running 12.5's, not the ****ty driver needs to do it!!!

I have results from a blower ported by me and friend of mine. I got 439hp and 513tq SAE, and another L with the same mods less the ported blower got 400hp and 484tq on the same day at the same dyno. This was after we both got a custom tune with the same AF at 11.7 Now that is some power

Special thanks to James"bubba" at RWTD for doing the tuning
