Question Question about tunes?

First let me say that all of this stuff interests me a great deal and that I appreciate most of you guys bearing with me and my questions. I was wondering, for you guys with the Predator, do you guys have Diablo send you a tune based on your mods or do you guys do custom tunes? I was also wondering if this is just an email or do you download from their website. I apologize in advance if this topic has already been covered.

Sean

When i bought mine from JLP, I told them my mods and they uploaded a custom tune onto the predator, thats the tune i used. from what i heard the factory predator tunes were really prone to pinging and detonation

I have seen some of the guys talking about the tunes being dangerous. If you don't mind, I would like to hear as much about the programmer as you know. ie. Ease of use, what the actual tuning interface is like(I'm kinda a computer nerd) and anything else you could think of. I looked on their website and it is very brief.

Thanks,
Sean

ask this question in the computer chips section...you'll get a better response...and it will keep these guys who think your a troll and just posting on a subject or topic that you have no true interest in, but have the motive of drawing the body of members into unproductive and usually inflammatory discussion from encouraging you to go away.. I seen it they just attack you for simple questions. BTW, did you ever post over on the dodge forum to ask the cold air induction question?

Yeah, those guys, from what I can see, aren't nearly as knowledgable as some of you guys. Maybe it's b/c they don't have any mods available or they don't do their own work. I don't know. Anyways, on K&N's website it says up to 26 HP but shows a Dyno sheet with an 8 HP gain. I was just wondering if it was noticeable to anyone.

as far as ease of use, its realy simple. it tells you what to do, then gives you one option "ok". its resembles dos to me (not in user difficulty), but programming similiarity...in other words it looks "old". kinda basic if you know what i mean. its got 4 arrow buttons to scroll through menus, and a "ok" button. not much to it

edit...just noticed i used the gm pic...sorry, looks about the same, just a different color
