Here is how it looks from the fenderwell:

Yeah I know my tires are bald lol!

Front View:

It made a world of difference! I had to have picked up a total of 20-30 hp over my modified stock airbox! Plus the blower screams like a **** with that air duct outside the truck!

looks real good. I think I may be joining you this spring.
What did you use to mount it to the front bumper or under the body?

I am doing something similar to that. I am using the older 5.0 march ram air unit and cutting and reversing the scoop to work on the drivers side.It mounts perfectly and the hose comes up next to the frame..Then i have a modified Air raid box that I made and adapter to take the hose..and work with the JDM open end filter..

Hey I am doing the same setup and want to use a 2.5" shopvac hose. How did you adapt the shop vac hose to the 3" opening on the box? I can't tell from the pic. Did you just use the hose lock thing that came with the box???

Thanks!

You would have never guessed....

I cut the bottom out of a friggin koozy and painted it black!

Hey like they say.... whatever works!

BTW, I dumped the black wire ties and replaced them with hose clamps. It has been 4 months since I installed it and no problems so far!

You guys can also buy the PSP FASTair Induction System, the original Lightning cold air box setup, and it would have come with the scoop and all the hoses. It also uses a lightwieght aluminum tig welded box. Just FYI. .

I already have the box...just need a single hose and scoop

Thanks for the info 01Lightning...I think i am going to try a 3 to 2.5" hose reducer from a dust collection system...unless Sal wants to donate me a connector

GREAT JOB 01

I made my first two or three Cool air systems myself, including the air box

BTW, you can fit 4" in there with NO PROBLEM too
Been there Done that

Never hit once, but I was taken in waaaaaaaaaaay too much
water, sand, garbage, farm animals, etc....

Plus I felt smooth wall is better, now I use 3" Stainless
