Installed FTVB this weekend

The install went fine. I decided to nut up and do the install myself. Great part that makes my truck feel like a true high performance machine. I highly recommend this product. Thanks.

Is this a good mod, and does it have improvements for a “stock” L? Or is this something that is meant for a already modded L?

01, you will chit your pants when you feel it shift after the FTVB mod.

It makes the shifts a lot faster and firmer.

Its a great mod, one I should have done way sooner, and I only have a 4.6

FTVB was my first mod. It made it feel ummm *undescribeable*.

My truck is still stock other than the FTVB, but it doesn't "feel" stock..

The FTVB in my opinion is one of the greatest mods to do. I loved mine so much that i actually switched to the 2CR version . I haven't put it in yet though but i'm sure it's going to be insane.

I know I really like mine. I love the second gear scratch I get at 40 MPH. Makes peiple really stare at the truck when they catch up to me. I think it surprises them to see a truck break traction at that speed. I know it shocked me.

He is a supporting vendor and this is who I will buy mine from. I recently bought a Bedrug from him and received it in 2 days...

The FTVB (factory tech valve body) is an entirely new valve body for your tranny. it firms the shifts up alot! i scratch tires going from 1-2 and 2-3! wel worth the money and its an easy install...id go with chickenears IMO

how hard is this to install. Will it void warranties?

its really easy to install, takes about 30-45 minutes (having a lift helps, but its not really needed).

technicly it will void yourwarranty for atleast your transmission, but according to gregg (who definately knows his *****), it is better for your tranny than the stock valve body.

unless a tech who really knows lightnings got in your truck and drove it, noone will know the difference from a stock L IMO.
