Question New Lightning....need help and advice

hey everyone.. I just bought a '00 Silver Lightning 42,000 miles...had an Airaid Intake on it otherwise all stock. It rides great as far as I can tell (my first time driving one)..... I have some extra $$$$ to spend on her. I would appreciate any ideas, suggestion, opinions and things not to do to it....my idea was a possible engine buildup and maybe a future blower swap.... thanks for any ideas guys...and girls...

Filter Chip n- 4Lb Pulley is pretty much the first needed items.
This is a very proven and even safe setup these days, you
can also run 12 sec 1/4's with a good tune on a good day.

If your going straight for an aftermarket blower, a KB will
get you in the 11's no prob, but you'll be running a higher risk
for pushing it over it's possible limits, it's all in the tune.....
Long tube Headers, Mid Pipes, Cat Back are great Mods. Eelectric Fans, Cobra Water Pump, of course you'll need a good set Slicks, 58" Rancho Style Traction Bars, a Drive Shaft Loop, etc....

Me, I aint got none of that, Nitrous, Pulleys, Chip, and 11's

WELCOME AND CONGRATS ON THE LIGHTNING

BTW
You have a 00, so depending how Mod Crazy you go, you'll want to upgrade the Maf to the Larger one used on the 01 and newer years. Also you should find out if your Intercooler was changed (there was a recall on them in the early yrs)

Best of luck

I choose REM as my tuner. Good bunch of guys and by all means get it on a dyno to make sure the tune is correct.
