March ??? Of what year ???
And you can bet that the end caps that they use will be made of cheap urethane rather than fiberglass. That's how they did the supercrew pans and more than likely they will cut corners with the flareside pan as well.

TampaSVT had one of the first and original Sir Mike's pans and his fit like a glove. Can't say the same from some of the later versions I've seen, it seems to be a hit or miss with quality control.

They have been telling us it will be ready in a few months for years now.

****Good News****

Just got off the phone with my contact at Sir Micheals.

March these will be ready to ship out.

Price 345.99 that is the retail price.

Get on the waiting list, there is a list.

Thye are in the final stages of quality testing and they have a endcap that is top notch.

They were having a problem with low quality caps that would not line up.

I hope this helps,

I missed out on Vinnie's SM rollpan when he decided to have Terry put it on but it sounds as if it may be available again. I was however lucky enough to get one of the three that Justin was able to get his hands on (thanks bro!)...I'm hoping the quality on mine falls into the hit category. I'd also spend the $525 to get one today rather than play the "I'm going to save $175 and wait for Sir Micahael's to make them." I've heard that they're coming any time now since I first got on here back in 2001. Three years ago it was another month and they'd be ready and they still don't make them...

And RobG...what up dog??? Missed you and Vinnie in Jersey a few weeks ago. Would've bought you a beer and a lap dance (although she would have been sans 'banana') or something like that!

Even if Sir Micheals did finally come out with the roll pan & end caps. I personally would rather have Terrys cause I know the quality & finish will be alot better . Just my opinion.

They've been shopping those caps around forever now. Pro-Glass had a set of their end caps a few years ago but basically Sir Michaels didn't want to pay for a qaulity fiberglass piece so they kept looking for someone to make those caps as cheaply and as fast as possible. Thus creating fitting issues for a lot of people

No more beer. I quit almost a year ago. Sans "banana" ??? Whatever stories Vinnie told you are absolutely false and completely unsubstantiated. Even the story about the donkey and the two dwarfs. A complete fabrication on his part ... or something.
