Thumbs up JLP Air Intake Installed!

I recieved and installed my JLP air kit yesterday. The install is a peice of cake, and after driving it to work this morning I can tell you that it DID make a noticable SOP improvement! I am running a 4# lower and the JLP intake replaced my stock box which had half of the bottom cut out. I am very pleased.

BTW, they forgot to include the trim pieces with the shipment, but I should have those installed tomorrow!

Hmm, I ordered mine on the 5th or 6th, was billed on the 10th, but have yet to get it. I am crossing my fingers for today. Time to make a phone call, lol. Looks good by the way. Thanks for the answer.

I truly think it's the Best Air System out there,
and it does make a diff.

AND IT LOOKS GREAT

I know, the sticker and lid don't sit down flat,
I got to spend a few minutes on it one day and fix that

Can the C&L tube be used with the JLP kit?

Rob, are you running the ram-air scoop with your setup? I did not get the scoop but plan on fixing something up myself with some flexible hose utilizing the hole in the bottom of the box.

Jeff, I notice that the edge of the cover on the left side of your box is on the outside... have you tried putting it on the inside? Just an observation...

anyway the silver box looks great with your polished C&L pipe!

It is definately not a bitch to install... what is so hard about removing the factory box and dropping a new one in place? The most difficult part is removing the MAF from the factory box and installing it on the new box, but even a child could do that.
