traction bars install..???????

i orderd some of the slide a link bars made by Moroso, from REM....and i was thinking i was going to be able to install them myself! after opening the package and reading some of the directions i was like "no way" dropping the leaf springs, and all this mess...so i went to my local installed, who helped me with my other installs and said he didnt really know much about them, and to try a mustang shop down the road....well i found success with the Mustang shop, they said they can do it, but it will take all day...cahrgeing me $72 and hour...thats like $500!!! and i wanted to go to the track this weekend and get some new numbers, but now i dont think i can...i though traction bars were pretty easy to install....i guess the slide a link ones arent....maybe i should just return them for some slapper bars....any ideas???

I have helped a few brothers out with the slide-a-link bars and they are a PITA to me.....If you absolutly have to have them then you are up for a task, if not, I say return them for some JLP bars and install them in your driveway under 2 hours.....JMHO!!

My shop charged me $170 for install. Said he'd never install them again though. They're really cool, but if I did it again I probably wouldn't get them. I'm lazy but if you want adjustability they are king.
