I am new to the board and to the whole wanting something fast club(I guess this is what to call it). If you were me, would you buy a Gen 2 and spend a little more on mods or wait for the Gen 3? The Gen 3 looks like it will be pretty sweet....don't like the 22's though. Plus, I've heard rumor of a $45,000 sticker price.

 

I think u should wait until we know more about the Gen 3, but if u cant wait, like me, haha, i would just find your self a Gen 2 till the Gen 3 comes around. I would expect the Gen 3 to be about 35-40 in MSRP, at least, but hey, who knows.

 

A few determining factors for me were: There is a good selection of Gen 2s now; there hasn't always been and who knows on the new one. The Gen 2s price is low for the power/times and they are working deals; who knows about the new one. BIG FACTOR FOR ME...the Gen 2s finally have the bugs worked out of them. It's simply the most powerful, fastest, cheapest, most dependable, muscle truck ever made.
