Question How much boost?

How many lbs of boost will the 5.4 handle?

Stock 5.4L from a Lightning? It all really depends on many factors including Timing and A/F ratios.

Man I cant even type the word timing without thinking of Rob.

I was wondering b/c Kenne Bell has a twin screw for the L that can add from 9 - 22 lbs depending on the lower pully. That seemed kinda high to me.

Well in that case you also have to remember that you are not really conserned with PSI you are more conserned with volume of air. I.E. 15psi from a stock Eatons blower is safer then 15psi from a KB blower.

Hence why I said you have to look at Timing and A/F ratios. Detonation is not your friend

Its unfortunatley nto as easy as a matter of how much boost you are running.

General rule of thumb that I read is that a stock block can handle about 450hp.
