Question Stroker Kits??

Anyone have or know anyone with a stroker kit for their 5.4L?

Johnny Lightning Performance sell a Storker kit which is the same kit that he is currently running in his truck.
a stroked 5.4 with Keny Bell

I wouldn't waste my money on a stroker kit. The crank alone costs over $2200. For the price of the kit you could get a nasty built short block.

The 5.4 already is a stroked 4.6, like 4.1" of stroke. 3.5" bore. Thats more stroke than most big blocks. You really dont want to stroke it out too much more.

If you have an unlimited buget get the SHM block that is Al and you can bore it to 3.7" so you get 6.0L but the block alone is $4500.

5.4's plenty of CI's to get the job done. I would not want any longer rod or stroke on a 5.4, b/c of piston speed and more parastetic loss.

Keep the 5.4, and maybe DOHC head swap

The ultimate would be a 6.0 DOHC fully built motor, with a blower or turbo of your choice

I just wondered. I've seen a kit to take the 5.4 to a 5.7
