I was wondering if you guys have seen it. I saw it and it was disgraceful. Some say it was rigged.......what do you guys think?:rocker:

 

It wasnt rigged. It was a Lightning with the basic bolt ons (Cip, pulley filter) running a stock SRT-10. No surprise as to the outcome. Also they say the SRT driver missed 2nd gear or somehting. Th eguy who owns the L is on this board and NLOC.

Uhhhhh You sure it ran a 13.5 on that run

The only SRT-10 to run 13.5 that I know of is 9second's Ram SRT and he didnt miss any gear. It was his best run of the night.

 

Noway that SRT 10 ran a 13.5 on that run. The L ran in the 12's(estimation by looking at my watch) and the SRT 10 wasn't even close. Can't wait till I get my L!

 

By looking at the vid again and again i'd say the SRT-10 crossed the line over 2 secs after the L

 

Easily 2 secs behind. My friend has a hemi and frequently looks at the Dodge forums. The best time for an SRT 10 so far is a mid 13. Not very impressive for 500 hp and over 500 lbs of torque. All the Dodge guys were ranting about mods, but that L still didn't have near the hp that Dodge has.

 

Anyone check out the Motor Trend Truck Trend magazine, 13.1 stock for the srt-10

 

I haven't seen that article. I've heard of stock L's running low 13's. I'm not impressed by the SRT.

 

hmmm;... then again I did get that from the dodgeforums.com website and they are a bunch of idiots.

 

Some of those guys are ok, but there are some obnoxious ones. I can't believe how they cried about the L's mods. Still less hp than that SRT and spanked it.

 

Whats the stock time for a Viper?

Same engine in a truck which weighs more doesnt help it.

And the fact it looks like it has hit a wall head on.

Funny thing is that if you ran a stock L and a stock SRT-10 they'd get similar times i would think.

120bhp more and it cant get a faster time.

The Dodge boys would then cry about the L having a Supercharger instead of N/A

 

Not sure about the Viper. I do know that the Dodge guys are crybabies. I own a Dodge right now but it is unbelievable how those guys think they are the shizzat. For the money, the L is a far more superior truck in my opinion.
