To try and answer some questions.......

Bigfan
Iam not a tuner and don't play one on tv
But I was told that my injectors where at 100%. My a/f graphs started to lean out around 4800rpm's. The people that I know with built motors pushing over 500rwhp have had to go to larger injectors. I have know for some time that I have to upgrade my pumps, but have put it off, because Iam running a stock long block. So really, all Iam saying, is I want to play it safe.

Rob02
You, awhhhh, come'on man. You must be paranoid

Dan
LOL, yep it is. Just ask Vinnie

Qwik150
PSP FastAir filter
BaBolt T/B
Apten port job
6lb lower
1lb upper
JDM/Kooks Long Tubes w/high flow cats
Bassani cat back
JDM Electric Fan
JDM/Fluidyne heat exchanger
Spal fans on heat exchanger
JDM/SuperChips tune
JL Traction bars
(thats all I can think off, right now)

MISTERgadget
That very impressive, but I should have said with out the bottle.
What I meant, was, power all the time, not at the press of a button. Not that there's anything wrong with that

Chimshady1
My fuel system is all stock. I knew that it was going to become a bottle neck for me. But I just "thought" I could get by, on the stock long block.

Everybody else, PLEASE get your a/f's check. I would hate to hear of somebody doing this GREAT MOD and dropping a rod, beacause of running lean on the topend.

I got to run and check out Home Depots parking lot. I got a title to defend..........

Great Info Gator, THANKS

AND HELL YA I'M AFRAID it's only a matter of time,
I just pray my theory on just making one or two passes
and only a few times a year buys me another season ???
I HAVE FAITH IT WILL

Sometimes I forget you got so much pully (7lbs or so),
that would explain the Needed Pumps/Injectors.
Remember I am tunned for that but currently only running 4lbs,
so as much as I DO agree I need a Dyno, I also KNOW I have some room in my tune right now as long as I keep the Upper off. A Matter if fact, I'm currently using my measly 16 degree program (just to be even more safer) and the SOB is running
stronger than 6lbs and the 18 degree program
@ ME
hehehehehehe

So did JDM reburn your chip to accomodate the Apten porting?

Bruce, Very nice to see you post your results. I'm glad to here you made the 500 club, As for the fuel system upgrade if you continue to mod sooner or later you'll have to make that change anyway. Congrats on the great numbers. Todd

Yes, Jim did make changes in my tune

Casey02

Iam doing a "little sumthing" with my gauge pod, so all my gauge's where unhooked. So I honestly have no idea. I'll try to get you an answer soon.

Todd

Iam not an offical member of the 500rwhp club, but Iam a member in good standing of the 500hp at the flywheel club :-)
I knew my fuel system has been holding me back, but like everyone else, I tried to go as far as I could before spending the coins......

Thanks, Iam a happy camper. Its probably the best bang for the money next to a chip. I know you'll love it. Brian @ Apten was a pleasure to do business with. He even picked up the extra shipping for next day delivery, because he was backed up, and he promised a week turnaround!

Sounds like a fuel pump issue to me. If you don't plan on going any farther this year, I'd try just that first. You can always go with the 55 lb. injectors when you step it up another notch. The 42 pounders should be able to handle what you've done so far just fine. They should be able to handle more in fact.

Of course, if you want to spend some more of that gigalo money now, theres nothing wrong with that at all. You can always make more. I hear little old ladies pay top dollar.

If you drop some good acid prior to pulling the snout you could prolly drill those holes without a 90 degree attachment.....

Better use some daglo paint and a black lite....however....watch out for the heat trails....

Sounds like a sales pitch to me...
