Ordered

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery...

So after the great ones (BaddAzz516, Kingpin, and others), I finally got to order my Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's today from Discount Tire Direct
I got the 20x10's with the Nitto NT-404 Extreme Force SUV 305 / 40R - 20 tires.

The only thing that sucks, it could take up to 6 weeks to get them Then again, I have waited this long already

Nice choice KB, you picked the best wheels for the L. Mine are 18"'s with the stock F1's, but I still love them.

Dude, Im wanting to do the same(lowered L and wheels). What did you use to lower your L because thats how I want mine lowered? Also, will the wheels rub anything with your L being lowered like that? And hows it ride? Everybody tells me that lowering will make the truck ride like chit.

Sorry to bug you like this but I want to make sure I do it right.

I lowered my truck with the Hotchkis kit.

The key is to "plus size", you go with a larger wheel but a shorter tire so the overall diameter is the same so there will be no clearance problems.

Well my truck rides stiffer than stock, but it has a more "performance" feel to it.

If you are really concerned aboout the ride quality, I would find a fellow Lightning brother to let you drive his/her lowered Lightning to see if you "like it" before you "buy it" :tu:

Fat chance, Im like the only person in Western Ky(and prolly all of KY) with a L.

Where did you get the Hotchkis kit? Does it come with everything I need to lower the truck?

Thanks
