Got a new #6 ...whats wrong?

I just upgraded from the #3 lower pulley to the #6 tonight. Took it for a conservative test run... Then I got on it a little and in 1st gear and it started to flutter a little at full boost. What is this fluttering sound. It just doesn't sound like the #3??? No DENTONATION whats so ever. What else should I worry about with my new #6 pulley. I plan to get it dyno tuned in a week or two. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance..... -MAtt

How do you know it's not detonation. Detonation isn't audible sometimes.

Flutter comes from the boost actuator usually.... Makes the blower sound all goofy.... Have you messed with that at all?

I helped a friend put a 6# lower on and his started doing that in 3'rd. When it shifted it would fall on it's face and make the fluttering sound...for a couple weeks anyway. Then it threw a rod in 3'rd. Of course now Johnny is building it into a monster KB machine so all was not lost.

yeah I was gonna try the colder plugs and maybe gap them a little closer. i have a mustang and it was blowing out the spark when i put the s/c on and the spark plugs and a decent ignition fixed it. But this is weird flutter doesn't really happen all the time. Other than that the pulley made a huge difference. You can deffinitly tell that the boost was increased and that it is there.
