PSP Spam

I've just been informed by several customers, that they have received a spam e-mail from our PSP e-mail address. The subject line is "Please check this out". I have no idea where this came from, but if anyone else gets it as well, please delete it. It did NOT come from PSP.

Ok, here's an update. It's originating from some overseas company. It's not exactly a virus, but similar. If you opened the e-mail, but did not click any links, you should be ok. If you DID click on any of the links, then you are infected as well, and it will start sending the same thing to people on your address book list.

What I'm being told needs to be done, is simply run Spybot Search and Destroy (can be downloaded free on the internet if you don't have it) and it will kill it. I'd suggest running S&D anyway, just to be safe.

Apparently this is something new that popped up this morning.

Yesterday I got an AIM instant message from a friend, that said to check out this link. He sends me funny links all the time, so I thought nothing of it. Turns out he didn't IM me. HE got it from someone else, and on his machine, it started sending out bogus IMs with the link. That's how I got it.
