Bilsteins and lowering ?s

I am looking to change my front shocks on my 2000 lightning. The truck is lowered 2 inches up front. Does anyone run stock bilsteins up front with there truck lowered. How about the price of them form the ford dealer, would they be chaeper then going to a speed shop to get them. Since there are a factory part on 01 to 04s.

I am using a 2" front drop with Bilsteins and no problems what so ever. I got my Bilsteins used from REM, tghey were almost new and they were around $100 shipped.

Hotchkis spec'd Bilsteins are part of their TVS setup. Designed for lowered trucks and CHEAPER than the buying OEM Bilsteins from a Ford dealer that are out of their optimal operating range on a lowered vehicle.

Mark at LFP carries them.
