Is NOS bad for an L

Just curious about what people thought about NOS on a L or if anyone has it on there L. I was wondering if it's maybe putting to much air into the motor because it's already supercharged. Thanks

First off, it's nitrous oxide. Secondly, nitrous oxide is bad for anything if it's not set up correctly. I have the Zex wet kit and so do many others with NO problems because there are nitrous programs on chips in peoples trucks.

so if the truck is basically stock it would be a good idea to get a chip or a programer for the nitrous so it would be properely tuned, and I thought NOS stood for nitrous oxide system.

I would not consider mine abused, or that I'm hurting it worse than anyone else running the ET's I do. IT'S ALL IN THE TUNE.
I take some safety measures like cold plugs, multi spark ing,
rich rich tune, and not going more than 75 WET Nitrous HP.
WORKS FOR ME SO FAR

I have much to learn about these trucks, I know my 302's but not to much about these modular motors with coil packs and all that stuff. How do I know what the timing is set at and how do I adjust it?

Oh and to answer your question. Nitrous is fine and safe if used properly, senseably and tuned right.

Basically like any other mod.
