Finally giving up on getting a KB

Well, they did it again. KB only got a few Lightning blowers and JLP didn't get enough to fill their orders. They are expecting 30 more in a few weeks, but most of those will go to others also. I likely will be waiting a while to get mine. I give up, cancelled the order. I cannot support a company that runs things this way.

Options: Keep my Apten and be happy. This is likely the route I'll take, since it runs good and I already have it. JDM Magnum Powers.....yeah right, put them in the same basket as KB; STILL don't have any, really stuck on the "have them next week" mode. Problem is they've been saying that since September when I first tried to get one. Works....as tough to get a 140 as either of the other two, maybe worse.

I don't get that there isn't a single aftermarket blower company that can supply a Lightning blower right now. Really disappointing to say the least.

Why would that be the case? There is no way a ported eaton moves more air than the KB.

Today his eaton moves more air than his KB because the kb is a no show. kind of like people who sale product for a cheaper price but never seem to have product, what good is the cheap price if you cant get the product?

Patience, patience...............just because I bought my KB before I bought my L doesn't mean it wouldn't have been worth the wait. The fact that they can't meet the demand has got to tell you something about the product and for the record the KB family has been very good to me (warranty wise and customer support, too).

Hey whats a couple weeks, or a month - nothing. Hang in there you won't be disappointed.

The pres. of our local SVT chapter has the exact set up I do except the difference is with our blowers. He took my L out last weekend and couldn't believe the difference. Quote "It is amazing how fast the KB builds power!"

D-Day

KB's are kickass.
But the problem I have with them, is the constant denials of any problems with the front nose cones on the KB

According to KB, there have been no problems

So maybe they are doing you a favor

I can get you a Whipple 140 or a 201 and put it on your truck with no problems.
I have a 201 on an engine already and am getting ready to put one on a 03 Cobra.
