Do you want the A/F to be a straight line all through the RPM range? For instance, is it better to have a 11.5A/F from 2000-5300 or have the A/F leaner to begin with and then go down to 11.5 in the upper RPM range?

i think its more acceptable to have a leaner ratio early in the rpm range since there is less engine stress and heat and a rich ratior at higher rpms, however i believe the safest will be a perfectly flat line.

A well respected tuner for supercharged vehicles sets his up just a little differently. While flat line 11.5 is safe, he says 11.5 at peak torque then let it lean out a little, to maybe 12 to 12.5 at max Hp rpm will make more power. He says the peak torque point it where you break rods, not peak HP. Just FYI
