how much??

how much do you think someone would be asking for a 2001 L with 86,000 miles? ive looked at the ones here in the classifieds and have seen some L's with less mileage in the mid - high teens. I am hoping he doesnt want too much, so i can just trade my car in and put it a little more money and own it. By the way it is RED, the best color.

86K sounds abusive. I wouldn't pay more than $7K-8K for any vehicle with that many miles. L or not. But check e-bay to see what people are bidding on. Or kbb.com to get value.

Well I would say 7-8k is pretty low....Although it is a Lightning, that doesn't mean it's been drove hard. My had has over 150k miles on his 2000 F-250 and he doesn't drive it hard, now given that it isn't a "performance" truck it should still be worth more thank 8,000 dollars. Heck, I got $6200 for my 1995 Z71 with over 200k miles.
