intercooler fluid replacement?

What do you all use to refill your intercooler after cleaning?

Good 'ol fashioned green Prestone Antifreeze.

Quite a few have had luck with some Royal Purple Ice mixed in - when I pull the S/C next, I'll be using that.

If you were in the lower states, I'd tell ya to do a 75/25 mix of distilled water/antifreeze - better thermal properties in water (in regards to removing heat).

I heard about the royal purple , do you mix it with the prestone or do you go straight RP?

Thumbs up iI BELEIVE THE 2003 LIGHTNING HAS MOTORCRAFT GOLD

mine has the motorcraft gold in it so when i added the JDM heat exchanger thats what i put back in it but don't mix the gold with the green i didn't hardly lose any coolant i grip off the hoses with wide mouth vise grips they are all kinds of coolant on the market they all serve the same thing some say some is better than others ?????? whos to say/

Distilled water 75%, 40 below 25%. It never freezes in my garage

Water, with a splash of anti corrosion/water pump lube tossed in.
