How to install a start button???
I'm a little challenged when it comes to electrical and I'm wondering if someone could help me out.
I would like to install a start button like the ones on the S-2000 and the SRT-10. Is this as simple as getting the start button and wiring it to the start switch? Would the vehicle be able to start with both the switch and/or using the start button?
Thanks in advance.

Yup, I have one installed on my L. It can be wired to start when you push the button or with the key. I had it done this way in case the button ever failed.
It is not that hard to install but I didn’t do it. But according to one of my employees at the shop it was easy. But then again they are licensed installers for alarms, starters, stereos etc so I guess they would be able to do a push start in their sleep.
Oh on a side note, as a joke the installer rigged it so it would flash when ever I turned my left turn signal on. I guess that was better then the time they hooked up the horn of a co-workers car to the power seats. Everytime he honked it would move the seat up. Took him 3 weeks to notice it after one time he got mad at a guy who cut him off and layed on the horn for 10 seconds. He was pressed up to the steering wheel. LMAO!!

Yup you put the key in turn it to Acc then push and hold the button till it starts. The Honda S2000, RX8 work just the same. If you didnt need a key they anyone could start your car/truck
