Lowering Question

I have a 03 L. Will using 02 or below L springs lower the truck? If so what parts would i need other than the springs? Want to get rid of the 4 x 4 look but not for the cost of a suspension kit. The shackles dont seem to do much either.

Forget taking a leaf out, just buy the JLP (Johnny Lightning Performance) 3" lowering shackle and your worries are over. Once installed you will have 5 1/4" clearance on the rear which will match the front (fender to top of wheel). Inexpensive, easy to install.

D-Day

The JLP shackle worked for me. Installs in about 1/2 hour.

well here is what I would do

get a set of 01 or 02 real leafs, and a set of belltech 2 inch lowering shackles. Thats all you will need for the rear.

For the front get a hold of Ruslow(stan) and get a set of his front springs.

Becides that all you will need except a shorter set of front say bar end links, with are only about 20-30 bucks

That will give you the same stance my truck has
