Yes. The silver stars come in the 9007 and the 9005. One is the headlight and the other the fog. You will really like the fogs...You wont use your brights anymore...

I just bought a pair of 9007ST and 9005ST Silverstars today from BuyTruckStuff.com, cost roughly $100 for the set of 4. I'm looking forward to see just how much improvement they provide.

Thanks for info, foks!

You can pick them up at your local Advance Auto for about 38.99 a pair...

9007 is for Headlights
9005 is for Fogs

9005's

The only thing that concerns me about the stock fog lights is the fact that they have been known to blow due to overheatingWill the silverstars blow quicker?,Also how do you install the fogs(are they like the head lights)?

The 9005 install just like the 9007s. You may have to trim some of the nub a little to get them to fit/lock in right. I use mine all the time and have had no blow outs yet. The heads have been in about 1yr or so and the fogs about 8 mths. Also have the silverstar turn bulbs and they are all going strong.
I use the fogs all the time on the back roads going to VA because they light the road up so much more!!!

I got a question. Why do we put High beam bulbs (9005) in our fog lights. Aren't these the same bulbs they put in the high beams on some cars and trucks. You've been running 9005 silverstars for 8 months and no cracking. Do the bulb housings get real hot. I might need a pair if they don't.

Frank, I believe you are incorrect. In regard to the '03 L especially, there has been no problem with the "stock fog lights" blowing due to overheating as you stated.. I have followed 3 or more internet boards that are L related for well over a year now and there is no talk of this overheating you suggest. Of course an occasional blown bulb but no overheating issues with the stock fog lights and bulbs. Also, MANY, MANY '03 owners over the last year have switched to the SilverStars in both headlights and foglights and even though brighter, etc. they also have no overheating problems. All you hear are very positive posts about them. The only reports of overheating / damage due to bulbs is in relation to the cheapy high intensity bulbs a few guys have bought on the internet. Indeed, some of those had / have over heating issues. I'm not at all flaming you just want to get the correct info here for those that are considering headlight / foglight SilverStars.

I love my Silverstars.

I had the Headlight bulbs in for about 4 months and Fogs for around 3 months. I haven't experienced any overheating or discoloration of the lenses.
