Got a pair of clear corners for my 99L and cant figure how to get to the damn headlights to switch them out?? Any help would be appreciated

I dont know about on 99-00 L's but on my 01 its not necessary to remove the whole headlight to put in the clear corners. it took me about 10mins to do both sides, only 1-2 screws and light tugging to pop it off the slider, on each side. My trucks at my job right now and I'm home for lunch, but if you can wait I when I get off I can pop the hood and give you an idea on where those screws are.

take this torx screw out & the corner light will come out.

 

If you dont have torx, a socket works just as good.
