Hit and Run in parking lot
Hit and Run in parking lot
Well I just got back from a week long trip in Atlanta. Took the L out there b/c i was picking up a new motorcycle. Anyway, I was at a bar with some old friends , and when i came out to the parking lot I found a nice sized reddish gash on my right frot bumper. Someone Im sure was backing out, and cut the corner too soon and gouged the side of my bumper. Its a good size gash, but the bumper is still in tact. I mean like no holes, etc. There is just good amount of my paint gone, and a good amount of his red paint on there. Some gouges here and there, but its not too deep. Think can take it to a body shop and just have it buffed down, re-fiberglassed and re-painted? I know its hard to visualize without a picture, will try to get one up soon. Thanks.
I smacked mine up on Jan 3 $1000.00 later for the bumper cover after hitting some ice and sliding into the side of a hill, and $ 700.00 later for the back bumper and box side fixed after I hit a water well

They probably didn't even know they did it. I'd say an asswhipping is still in order though. I'm sorry to see anybody have to deal with parking lot damage. Sometimes people just suck.

Normally I would not have taken it to a bar, but if you would have read the post, i said i drove it to another state/city. That means it was my only means of transportation. Anyway, Atlanta drivers are the worst, always cutting you off, etc. The jerk could have at least put a sorry note or some chit. Too bad Im back in texas, or else i would have tried to find him..good chance he might have been a local at that bar. Also, i intended this thread as a question about how easy/hard/expensive fixing our bumpers are...not telling me i should have not taken my truck to the bar...as i said, it was my only way of getting around....billarf, get older/wiser and read the post thoroughly.
