SoCal Lowering-Ride-Bottoming out

I am interested in any info on the SoCal lowering. Mostly ride quality and rear end bottoming out. They claim the ride is softer than stock and the handling is improved. I do not care about the pay load. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Larry

any lowered truck, the payload will suffer, i have a 3/4 belltech, no problems with just stuff in the back with bottoming out, but when i started to pull the boat i put a set of air bags and a compressor on the back leafs, i inflate to 20 psi and it pulls great..

If i remember correctly, SOcal uses eibach springs ....and eibach springs have a problem with saggin if you search previous threads.... But then again i might be wrong about what springs they use.

I don't know anything about the ride quality though... Go with Roush! I sure liked it !

Eibach Springs are used in the front. The rear uses Bell Tech hangers and So-Cal's special overload leaf, which can be ordered separately.

Roush springs will cut your payload in half.

Read these articles about the So-Cal drop kit. I believe the kit has changed slightly, but you can call them to ask (909-469-6171).
