Question O2 sensors?

Are all ford 02 sensors the same, I am getting a code on my truck that says slow response from 02 sensor. Can i replace it with any ford 02?

Ford changed the O2 sensors in the lightnings..

My '99 had different O2 sensors than a '01.

Becuase i bought '01 O2 sensors and they didn't fit.

don't kinow when they changd them or why.... but they are different.
I'm guessing in '01 they changed them along with cux2 computer program

The 99 - 00 are regular F150 O2s. The 01 and up are Lightning specific. I do not know the reason for the change but the sensor on the 01 and up is more like a wide band o2. I am in no way saying it is but the difference may allow it to be more accurate. I have noticed that the 01 and up are able to keep the A/Fs closer to where they are set in the program.
