BF Goodrich G-force DR?

Anyone tried the 315/30/18 G-Force drag radial from BF Goodrich yet? If so, how do they compare to the 305/45/18 Nitto DR's? Wear, traction, stability in the rain, etc.....

Thanks in advance!

Doug C.

They are so small that I think they would look funny.

Even with a 315 width, a 30 series tire will be too short for our trucks. The stock f1's have a 28.4 in diameter, but the 315/30/18 tires only have a 25.6 in diameter. These would be great on a car such as a Supra or Mustang, but not on our trucks.

Yeah that's what I just found out, for some reason I had it in my head that they were wide enough that the 30 profile wouldn't have had them being so short....

OK, any other choices in a street sticky that will wear about like the Nitto DR's and/or larger than stock width "regular" radial & NOT be so short?!?

Well I don’t know guy’s, but I’m running 335-30-18 (Viper) tiers at the rear for the past 8K, they are real beat up however, they both look like slicks. (They are not worth a flip in the rain now!) They do look funny, and it messes up the odometer, But boy they are fun!!! This tire size by a quick calculation gives you a gear equivalent to 4.80???? Somewhere close to that, Whoooo Boy, talk about get up and GO….. Like I said, It’s a blast!! They are also a bear to put on the rim! They are meant for a 10” rim, and some shops will not even attempt to do so!! As far as gas miles how does 6 per sound, when getting on it!!! Best on the highway has been 13.5…. Top end still buries the Speedo, however the truck is looking for sixth gear, You do get up there quick however!!!!!!!!!!!!!
