PSP is pleased to announce that we now have the software to do chips and Predator tunes for the 2004 Lightnings. Diablo released the template files this morning. There had been a previous 04 template, but it was an unfinished version with very limited capabilities. Mike Wesley from Autologic has been hard at work since late November getting the 04 stuff perfect.

So we will be hard at work getting some 04 tunes done for our patiently waiting customers who've purchased Predators from us for their 04s. My thanks to them for understanding the waiting period. I'm sure they will not be dissapointed .

I have also attached below, a picture of our PSP CMR chips. They are available in single or dual program (both with the ability to turn completely off and work of the factory calibration) and feature an LED switch that shows green and red for programs 1 and 2. All 2004 Lightning chips will be the CMR type. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

 

Sal what if I need a reburn on my old autologic chip? Do I get upgraded to the Diablo style?

 

The old chips are not obsolite. I can still program them forever. The ONLY way you would not be able to use that chip, is if you had an 04, because there is no 04 Lightning software for the old Chipmaster. 2004 has to be CMR. But the old chips can still be programmed, for anything pre-04.

Can a Predator be used to data log with say an autologic chip installed or on a stock PCM ?

I may need to get one from you....

Twisted, you can definitely datalog with the stock program in.....I would think you could with any program---you're just monitoring what the engine is doing.

If not mistaken, you can datalog other Fords too---you just can't do anything with their programs.....

Shane: I do not reburn Red Diablos. I can put our PSP programs on any black Revolution chip.

Twisted: Yes, you can use the datalog feature of the Predator with any chip installed. I can also put your current chip tune on a Predator tune so you can flash it in.
