22's on stock suspension?

22's on stock suspension?

any pros and cons on this topic? Im this close to getting a set of 22s, use my l for more show than go....if i do have to lower it I want something simple,any ideas? Ill hold off on purchase til you guys give me input....if not im buying friday....help a brother out!

there will be no problem wit those rims on stock suspension or if u lower it, i had 23X10.5" rims all around n it was lowered, 4" in the rear 3" in the front, the front rubbed a lil on major bumps, but dont forget i had 10.5" wide in the front, n thats the only place that rubbed a lil. hope i can be some help for u, i say do it.

You definitly have to lower it....


When I was up in Boston this fall I saw some homeboy in a black gen 2 with 22" or 23" chrome wheels and no drop. It looked like complete sh#t. But, then again, why lower it when all you wanna do is show off some chromies to da hoes.

Definately lower it. I have my snow tires on right now, which are a 31.5 " diameter tire. And I think it looks goofy riding way up like a normal truck.

I know its less than an inch difference, but it still bugs me.

Whats the minimum drop that i could pull off? I know the road is going to feel harsher with the 22's as it is....dont want to lose too much road quality....
