There was a dealership a while back selling a lifted lightning that was on its first steps in trying to be a Baja truck.

Back in Nov 02 when I bought my L the dealership in San Diego had a Silver 02 that their "Custom Vehicle Shop" had put a four inch lift on. It looked horrible, and to boot they had Cheesy 8" wide rims and 33X10.50 skinny mud terrains tires. Tragic....

Sad to say, but I've almost done the same thing. When I was pulling out of my school, some guy was hauling *** around a blind bend and by the time I was in the road he was almost to my door so instead of turning I just floored it and went down a 4 foot ditch sideways and into a company's lawn where I cut 2 donuts and just spun it around to get straight and all it did was get my truck muddy and unseated one of my rims.

geez, thats stinks... I would be cleaning the underside for days

I have never tried to take a 2wd truck off road, I got stuck enough with the 4x4 Bronco I used to have in HS.. its fun unless you get stuck out there all night.
