Question Idler question

Is it possible to replace all of the idler pullies with aftermarket ones. I can put them on the bracket that holds them on and also the tensioner but can I use them on the timing cover also? I think with a minimal amount of grinding they would. Anyone here do this??

You don't have to use Ford pullies for the idlers or tensioners... Try here for some new ones... http://www.rockauto.com

I can't get to that webpage for some reason. Can you link me to the page? I already have a set of Billetflow idlers. Just wondering if I can use them on all of them.

That is the webpage for parts...I think all the idler pullies are all the same. They are 90 mm I believe. As long as the pulley surface is smooth and not groved or lipped you will be fine...

I just noticed that the idler arm on the timing cover has an even smaller pulley, 80MM maybe. What the he|| am I gonna do. I have spent some major coin on this motor and I do not want to have Ford idlers on it. Anyone got any other ideas?? I could have sworn I have seen a picture of someones engine on a stand with all aftermarket idlers. If I could just remember........

Of course Mr.Hawaii you can`t remember cause of this > and watching too much Lilo $ Stich.
Put the 90mm pullies on. They should fit nicely and also add more belt wrap on the blower
