Picture of our stock cats PLEASE

i found a guy who can make me something that I think sounds very interesting.... He makes electronic cat cutouts... its installed in front of the cats with 2 chambers... so when you have the electric switch 'on' the chambers are directed for the exhaust to go through the cats.... but with a flip of a button, the chambers direct the exhaust to bypass the cats and go directly to your mufflers...

anyway, he wants to know the diamiter of our exhaust and a picture of underneath with all 4 of our stock cats....

can anyone help me out?

p.s. anyone do or see anything like this? how it turn out?

Here's a link. This shows just before the cat, drivers side.

I stand corrected. Missed the 2

Exhaust is 2.25" Before cats.

This pry isnt what you are looking for, but I'll post it anyway. We only have 2 cats right, and two collectors? The cats are the ones closest to the back of the truck in the pic right?

Thanks, Shane

The ones closet to the motor are the pre cats.

Hey Jim,

Where are your cutouts installed, before or after the cats?? How does it sound. I have long tubes and am tempted to install cutouts right behind them, I think it would sound BadA$$!!!!

If you put them before the cats its going to be a tight fit. Also if you will looses some low end and probly some high end. Unless your boosting and running some high horsepower numbers i think there a waste of time. Might as well just get some highflows and new mufflers and call it a day.

they ran me 149 plus shipping a piece. There really is no room behind the cat to install them. The guy i had do it wouldnt remove my cats either. I bet you could find someone thats willing to take the cats off. It is LOUD AS HELL!! Be warned!Get it on the highway and give it juice and scare the living crap out of people you pass.

not too sure about the performance.....loose a lil low end. barely noticeable but i think it does pull a lil harder top end. They got 14rwhp out of a camaro with long tubes. Not sure if we would see that much but it cant be all that far off. Also its nice when your at the spot and someone comes up to you and wants to run.......open up the cutouts and watch the look on there face. I've have one guy back out because of this hahaha
